Summery Samples

Hello! Here is today's summery jamicure using two free sample wraps. It is certainly much brighter and more cheerful than the weather outside by a mile!

The wraps featured here are called Sorbet and Sweet Surprise. I have combined them with my own nail varnish that I made from scratch (it's pinker in real life!)

A word about the samples. They are smaller than the wraps you get when you order a set. Here's a pic that I took last night to give you a better idea of the scale (the gorgeous design on the right is called Fractal). It's not the most glam photo ever, as I took it against the background of my daughter's chemistry book, but you get the idea!

So Nailicious

Clear Wraps

I love clear wraps just as they are, but they also look great over coloured polish. I'm looking forward to the day when we get the Jamberry lacquers, but until then I have used my own nail polish that I made myself (Lantern Lily - Imperial Grape). I've paired it here with Granada as the accent wrap. I hope you like it! April x

Football Fever

I'm very excited about tonight's kick-off, but did you know that you can customise your nails to show your support too? The first mixed mani set is called Striker and the second one is called Soccer. There's no England flag, but you can show your support for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (sadly no Scotland team this time). If you are worried that we may exit at the group stage, can I suggest a couple of accent nails rather than the whole hog? Pamper Evening

Hello! Here are some photos from my first vendor event - a charity pamper evening in aid of Guide Dogs that was held at Hope Farm Methodist Church in Ellesmere Port. It was a lovely evening with a great range of local businesses offering beauty treatments and products. Guests applied wraps and lots of lovely cake was eaten! I am very much looking forward to the next one.

Another event coming up is the Summer Fair at Birkenhead High School Academy on Saturday, 25th June at 11am. Do come and say hello! April x

Timeless

Today's jamicure is a combo of one of my favourite wraps - Timeless (a lovely floral design in sepia tones) with a solid colour - Dove Grey. I think my photo makes the Dove Grey look a little purple perhaps, but in reality it is a very beautiful, subtle grey. I love it!

Floral Fusion

May's exclusive wrap is simply stunning! As I look out on yet another cold, grey and wet Bank Holiday weekend, I think these jams would be perfect. At least you can have pretty spring flowers on your fingers, if nowhere else!

A Tropical Jamicure

Ok, so flip flop season wasn't imminent after all. After some lovely weather it's back to grey skies and rain. Time for a tropical jamicure instead! This combo is Kingston with Diamond Dust Sparkle. I love Kingston - the design combines tropical blossoms with subtle silver and white stripes in a satin finish. I think it complements the lovely silver glitter of Diamond Dust Sparkle perfectly. Flip Flop Season

Country Manor

Hello! I hope you have had a good weekend. I'd like to share one of my favourite Jamberry wraps with you - Country Manor. It has a matte finish with a gorgeous floral design in shades of pink. I love it! Here is my latest jamicure:

Hello and a happy Monday to you! My first encounter with Jamberry nail wraps was a free sample like the ones above. Would you like one? Just contact me via my website! 

 

 



 

So this was my first attempt - not too shabby! The wraps are heat and pressure activated. As I didn't have my wonderful Jamberry mini heater at that point, I used a hair dryer. It worked ok, but I blew bits of cotton wool over the table and I did realise that when I got my heater I felt a lot more in control of the application process.

There are three step by step videos on my website that cover application, removal and tips & tricks. The last one is really useful. Nails vary from flat to curved, but there is lots of advice on finding an application technique that suits you.

Hello and a very warm welcome to my new blog! I am very excited that Jamberry have launched in the U.K. I first came across their lovely nail wraps a while ago and breathed a wistful sigh when I realised that they were a  U.S. based company.
